During Easyfairs’ annual Meetings & Events fair in January, Mässrestauranger hosted a VIP lunch in Restaurant & Banquet Hall Cloud at Malmömässan. Guests were treated to a three-course Scanian and Scandinavian menu created by Head Chef Daniel Pembert. Also present at the lunch were the Malmö representative of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel – as we are a certified Swan restaurant – along with our floral designer Anna Gouteva, who created the day’s beautiful flower arrangements.

In connection with UFI’s Annual Congress at Malmömässan, Mässrestauranger and Måltidsvision joined forces to present both the region of Skåne and Sweden as a whole. Guests were invited to enjoy a lunch buffet with distinct Swedish themes, created to highlight not only our nature but also the unique concept of Allemansrätten – the Right of Public Access.

The lunch began with a small amuse-bouche, inspired by the Swedish summer, which guests picked up themselves. They then entered the dining hall, where two buffets awaited. The first drew its inspiration from the sea, decorated with stones and reeds. The second reflected the land and agriculture, adorned with sprouts and crops. To bring Allemansrätten to life, coffee was served in traditional northern Swedish wooden cups (kåsor), while the apple cake was wrapped in paper for a rustic touch.
